Free WA Routine Rental Inspection Prep & Record Pack

Prepare sensibly, record maintenance and keep a clear inspection trail. This free pack helps WA tenants organise practical preparation, note what was discussed during an inspection and keep follow-up records together.

Free means free: no newsletter, account, email address or personal information is required. The button above downloads the PDF directly.

What is inside

Version 1.0, dated 18 September 2026. Download the 10-page printable PDF and keep a clean copy for your next inspection.

Use it before, during and after the inspection

Start with the appointment details, preparation checklist and maintenance scan. Link maintenance concerns to photographs or earlier repair requests. On the day, record who attended, what was observed and any follow-up discussed. Afterwards, use the tracker and message prompts to confirm important points in writing.

A personal preparation and record-keeping tool. This pack does not replace your tenancy agreement, Form 19 Notice of Proposed Entry to Premises, the prescribed Property Condition Report or legal advice. Check current official guidance for formal entry requirements.

Keep your tenancy records connected

Keep your original condition evidence in the WA Rental Move-In Condition Companion. For maintenance needing a fuller repair history, use the WA Rental Repairs Record Pack. When the tenancy ends, the WA Rental Bond Handover & Evidence Pack helps organise the final handover and supporting records.

Read the guides to routine inspections in WA, Form 19 notices of entry and clear tenancy follow-up emails.
